Mothering Styles-Mothering Authentically

Most moms admit to not always feeling confident in their own mothering skills and often compare themselves to other moms they perceive as being perfect. Truth is, there are no perfect moms! The good news is, it’s ok! Each mother has her unique strengths and interests that she uses in raising her children. Our children do not require us to be perfect! What our children do need from us is a mom who loves them and herself and knows how to make the most of her strengths and weaknesses. A confident and happy mom raises confident and happy children!
During this workshop you will complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, MBTI,to gain a better understanding of your personality type. We will apply this information to your job as a mother to gain a realistic and objective picture of your strengths, struggles and needs. (based upon research done by Janet Penley)
Mothering styles are not one size fits all, knowing your unique approach to mothering will free you from the pressure to be the ideal "perfect" mom so that you can focus on your unique mothering style and become the ideal mom that is just right for you!
