ooooh, a give away!

I spent so much time in January talking about goal setting and planning for the year that I thought I would offer a give away! I am a right brained being to the extreme. I have never done well with real structured planners and time management "systems." My mind will not allow me to list tasks by level of importance, because as an ENFP- isn't it all important?!! Two years ago, I discovered the Truly Mom planner and it was love at first sight. Talk about compatibility. This jewel of a planner opens up to a small desktop. My right brain loves the colors and the various notepads to the left. I doodle and capture random ideas and quotes here. Jot notes to send to my kids teachers, leave notes for my husband and daughter and create grocery lists. In the center is the calendar, each month has a month view along with a week view. You even get these adorable heart stickers to place on important dates- or adorn your daughter with them when she comes begging for "those pretty heart stickers." Finally, on the right is a place to plan your day. A place to note "things to do" "what's for dinner" "calls to make" etc. This is where my real daily planning occurs. It even comes with an adorable address book that slides into a small pocket, I also keep business cards in this pocket. A Truly Mom pen is included :)

For this give away, you have a choice!!  If you are the winner, you can choose the "Bedrock" planner,  it is brown with a blue and brown polka dot ribbon going down the front. Prefer pink? You can choose the "Later Gator" which has the pink and green striped ribbon. The choice will be yours!

To enter to win, all you have to do is leave a comment answering the following question-

My biggest time management challenge is______? My goal to overcome it is________?

It doesn't have to be deep, super detailed if it's personal, just a way to get you thinking :)

I will be taking your entry submission through February 13th and making an announcement of the winner on Valentines Day!!

Good luck :)

Prioritizing my day before time runs out in it is my biggest time management challenge. First things first in an order that makes sense. My goal for working this out.....well its still a work in progress but includes doing the most important things first, like making the bed, bill paying, laundry, and planning the evening meal....then on to the rest of the day for crafts, photography and blogging. Before I know it the day is gone!! It's a work of decipline really!

This is a beautiful give-away! I love it and could certainly use it...I love making lists! Thanks for a chance.
Have a great and blessed week.

Cora, one of my greatest challenges is to get my day organized before diving in without a plan! I tend to act first, plan later :) Have you been a crafter forever or is it something you have started doing over time? This is one area I wish I had better skills at. Like, I want to help my children make home made Valentines cards for their friends, but do not even know where to begin!

my biggest time challenge is working in the evenings from home. there are many distractions. my goal to fix this...is to send the kids to do a fun activity with my husband (away from home). if possible, i will pack up a bag of my papers and go to my local coffee shop to work.

Sounds silly - but food is a real time management issue, or better, "nutrition." Planning healthy meals on a budget, grocery lists, shopping, storing/freezing food, preparation, actually eating the meal, clean up. My goal to overcome is to allow it to be a time-consuming priority and ENJOY it. We'll spend as much time (or more) caring for a sick body as we will a healthy one, so I rather spend the time on maintaining good health.

Another TM issue - social media! I let it interrupt my day because it's so much fun to connect with others. However, I realize I've put a lot of good stuff aside. My goal is to assign a particular time for SM rather than logging on throughout the day. Can I do it? We'll see!

Great giveaway! I just bought a planner, so if I win, pass it on to another commenter. Thanks!

Hey you! I also struggle with SM- I am trying to only do it at certain times of the day- between SM and going from one blog to the next getting lost in all that inspiration is a slippery slope for me!

Now that I'm back to work and on a schedule after several months, my biggest time management challenge is managing in the "me" time (fulfilling my creative needs), along with my family time and career. My goal to overcome it is trying to schedule the time to update my blog, work on my photography consistently, let my family know about my schedule and stick to it. Continue to incorporate family time with photography events as well.

hey there!
it seems that each time, i try to make me time, everything else falls by the way side. i have to come up with a system where, we can all enjoy a bit of the day, without having the house fall apart, 'cause mama wants to check out of reality, for a moment. : )

Amelia, just read your follow up comment. Yeah. Uh no. I am not sticking to my SM schedule! Right now? I'm at work!!!! Jumping into Twitter, bouncing to blogs .... shame on me! I can't miss any tweets. S.O.S. ;)

My biggest TM challenge is my own distractibility! Too many good things that need attending to, lots of people to love on and take care of... I 'll start one thing and a few minutes later be on to something else... My goal to overcome... I need to work on more of a routine and start some sort of triage in my own home!

what a wonderful giveaway!

My biggest time management challenge is balancing me time with work and household chores. Working at home is a huge blessing and I feel like God dropped it in my lap to train me and show me that it is possible to work, keep a house, have me time, celebrate my husband and one day, have kiddos running around.

My goal to overcome it is to start my day earlier and write out in the morning exactly what I need to accomplish that day. This has been much easier said than done since I've been fighting bronchitis that turned into Walking Pneumonia since the beginning of the year. BUT, another thing I'm learning is to not beat myself up when I don't accomplish everything or my list isn't fully crossed off.

Whew ... that was a lot!

My biggest time management challenge is? Keeping up with all the activities and events my children and wife are participating in on a daily basis. I don't know who's coming or going!

My goal to overcome it is? By Valentine's Day, Feb 14th!

If I win, I'm giving the planner to my beautiful wife of 29 years!
